Roof Waterproofing: common questions
How is a terrace waterproofed?
We lay a sloped screed so water drains toward the outlets, then apply a seamless membrane over it, turned up the parapet walls and around drains. Cracks in the slab are grouted first.
What is the flood test?
After the work, water is held on the terrace for 48 hours. We hand over only when the ceiling below stays dry.
Does terrace waterproofing help with heat?
A sealed, coated roof gives heat and rain protection and stops water from soaking into the slab, which also helps keep the top floor more comfortable.
